100 word challenge

I flop into the kitchen, my bed socks squeaking on the lino. My eyelids are so heavy, I can hardly see out of them. I reach for the fruit bowl and snatch up a damaged black banana. Ugh. This is what happens when you're in self isolation. There's no fresh food. Stupid Coronavirus.

I slump back to my room and turn on my phone. Suddenly, my door opens and I jump. My sister’s face peeks through. “Mum, Ella's on her phoneeee!” She screeches and I quickly turn it off.

This day is definitely not going as I planned it.

I really enjoyed reading your story. Well done.
This Corona-virus is a bit of a nuisance at the moment. I hope you and your family are keeping well. Hopefully the next few days will be better!
    Good work this week.
Keep writing in these uncertain times.
